MCreator block tick rate won't tick on my machine (2023.4)

I have set my machine block tick rate to tick every tick (to 1) to add 1 to an nbt tag but nothing happens, and i confirmed that what was suppose to happen works by making a procedure so on right click, the block would increase an nbt tag once and it did, but the update tick was just not working
