Mcreator 2023.4 not turning on and getting stuck at initiating user session.

I recently reinstalled Mcreator 2023.4 due to problems with textures. This time I tried out the installer instead of the .zip archive, and whenever I try turning it on, it just stops at "initiating user session". I tried turning it off with task manager, turning on and off my wifi, restarting my pc, etc. but nothing has worked so far.
