Hey I wanted to use the vanilla iron block and make oxidization states for it. I found a tutorial on youtube by northwesttrees and it looks great, but I cant figure out for the life of me how to make the iron block actually oxidize, can anyone help
This is his tutorial, I didn't fully complete it but I'm using the main parts I need like oxidation

I think you'll need to make a new block and make that tick randomly to actually work.
Another way (which could be buggy in some occasions) is replacing the block instantly on the "Block Added" event for iron blocks to that custom one.
aw thats a bummer since people can find the block from a /give
