Pretty self explanatory all I found on the topic was a video that was a year old recommending me to use a 3 year old template that seemingly no longer works and was made for MC 1.15
I did see the forum post about a plugin builder app but after using it I found it a bit lacking
You only need intellij if you're making a java plugin, otherwise you can just use any text editor. To make a java plugin you can get started with https://github.com/MCreator/DemoJavaPlugin
