How to execute the next procedures at a different block

Im trying to make a command that makes a line of blocks however long the number they put in, how im doing it is id place a block at ~ ~ ~ then i want to execute the next procedure at ~1 ~ ~ from the original position, then i put that in a repeat procedure for whatever the number is they put it, how would i change where its executed?
