App startup overlay won't go away.

I am on MCreator 2024.1.

Whenever I startup the app, the overlay won't minimize or go away once the app itself has loaded. The home window where you can select a workspace or create a new one is there, but because the overlay is there, you can't select anything on that window. The overlay also covers everything else on the computer, including windows from other apps. Even while waiting a while to see if it'd go away on its own, it just doesn't go away, so I have to close the app through Task Manager.
