Access to the project (.jar)

Hi, I used MCreator a few months ago and after a few days I uninstalled it. I had saved my mod in .jar but it tells me that to recover the project, the project must be either in .mcreator or in .zip; but I don't have any of those 2, I only have the .jar. So how do I recover my project with the .jar?
