Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I added a Scepter weapon to my minecraft mod and gave it a 3D Model and a 2D texture, I selected both of them correctly but the 2D texture gets overwritten by the 3D Model and I have no Idea why

thats how other 2d/3d models, like tridents, already work
im not sure what you're doing, what are you trying to do?
I want a model to be displaying on my hand but a 2D texture in my inventory
