Hey there! think your problem is the entity type up at the top right. It says "this might override some parameters" or something like that, try disabling that.
I know that this is the problem, and that's what I'm asking
how do I fix this
ah ok nvm, you see you can not name a mob that is already a mob ingame, so like if you wanted to name something chicken, you cant do that since there is something already called chicken in game.
