I created a potion effect with custom particles, but the default Minecraft particles are still appearing alongside the custom ones.
there is an option when you are applying the potion to "hide particles". it's that really long procedure block for applying a potion effect, you can check the option to hide particles.
to make this happen in all circumstances, make it so when your potion effect is applied, call a procedure that immediately removes the potion effect, then reapplies it using "hide particles".
