Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I tried to use MC Creator to make a mod, but it was too difficult for me to do it. I'm trying to delete this program, but my laptop says the file is open in another program. I've checked everything and can't find where the file is being used. How do I delete this program?
Personally, I wouldn't recommend deleting MCreator, as there are many tutorials on YouTube and other platforms, and a decent size community to help you get started with modding. But if you really want to, you can easily delete it by restarting your PC/Laptop, going to the settings program if you are on Windows (if you aren't on Windows I can't help you), and finding 'Add or Remove Programs'. Then use the search tool to find 'MCreator', and click it. Then click Uninstall. It will guide you through the process of uninstalling MCreator from there.

If you really want to delete it, right-click the start button in the taskbar, click on Task Manager, stop all tasks that start with JDK, and delete the files.
Another easy way is to delete the files directly after restarting the computer.
If you used an installer, you can use uninstaller in the folder you installed it into.
