Mcreator replacing my audiofiles with a older version

So i am trying to replace my audio files with newer versions by going through the workspace file and doing it from there this worked before but now for somreason when i try to do it now it replaces what i put in with what was previously there even though they have the same name and everything it did work once since this issue however when i went to tweak volume it just replaced it with the orginal file.
