Hello everybody! I know I have not been online much, but I am making a revamp of the "Lunacy" mod. It is completely new, containing custom spell systems, alchemy systems, and more!
Here is what I've got so far for scrolls.
Custom Scrolls:
A scroll has three stats, the element type, cast type, and tier.
Scroll elements:
The element type is for example "Blaze" element type would mean fire-like attacks. There are 4 element types,
Skeleton - A necromancy like game-play, summoning mobs to your command. (You use a bone to make this.)
Blaze - An offensive game-play, dealing lots of damage. (You use blaze powder to make this.)
Ender - An agility game-play, meaning lots of movement of yourself and your enemies. (You use an eye of ender to make this.)
Illage - An Evoker's magic, summoning objects to deal damage. (You use an emerald to make this.)
Scroll cast types:
Cast types are they way you cast, for example, the "Arrow" cast type shoots a projectile of some sort, this being the most basic cast type.
There are 3 cast types.
Arrow - Shoots a projectile based on the element type. (You use an arrow to make this.)
Protection - Uses effects to protect you based on the element type. (You use a shield to make this.)
Super - Uses a massive attack mostly doing explosive damage. (You use any kind of relic to make this. More on relics soon.)
Scroll Tiers:
Scroll tiers measure how much the spell does. The higher the tier, the stronger.
Tiers are late game, needing a netherite template to upgrade, meaning it is very hard to get.
How to change scrolls:
A block can be crafted to change the scrolls. This block is known as the scribes table:
