I'm making a mod that adds artifacts and you can only have one type of artifact at a time. When I made a pickaxe artifact I noticed that the other artifact that I had in my inventory started working even though I had a different artifact but that one was enchanted. The system works by an artifact checking for other artifacts every tick.
