I've been trying to open up the latest version of MCreator, but it says I need a Java Runtime Environment.
Downloading it has not worked, and I've tried moving it to different folders, which all tell me to download it. (I've tried moving it to Program Files, Program Files (x86), and my user folder)
Is there anything I'm missing?
Have you downloaded the ZIP archive or the EXE installer?
If it's the zip, install the exe installer instead and open it.
If it's the exe, re-download it. In that case, it's probably because of your faulty network that part of the file didn't download.
MCreator does not require custom Java install.
Use exe installer to install it.
Usually if it says missing Java, this is because your antivirus deleted some of the installation files but it shouldn't
