Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
I want to make a Chalkstone block. I want this block to slowly erode. I have three different blocks. Chalkstone, Cracked Chalkstone, and Crumbling Chalkstone. The idea is that whenever this block is in the rain, it will slowly erode going through the different blocks before breaking and dropping Chalk Powder. I also don't want this to happen IF there is any block on top of it or above it blocking the rain. It would also be cool if this could happen while the block is in water.
I am not good at procedures in any way, and I have no idea how to even begin doing this. I also cannot code, so codeless solutions would be preferable. If anyone knows a good course of action, please let me know, the help is much appreciated.
