[NOT SOLVED YET] Trying to turn dirt into mud when water is placed on it.

Originally, this was an issue asking about how I can turn dirt into mud when said dirt is placed in water but, I already solved that. However, I seem to have a problem with vice versa; making dirt turn into mud when water is placed on, underneath, or next to it.
