How do i put the game upside down?

Hey!

I am making a mod that adds a lot of annoying stuff to the game. Now i want there to be a chance if you eat food that the screen flips (not the gravity). I will figure the eating chances out myself but how do i flip the screen? Is there any way we can bring back the super secret settings from 1.8?
