My structure doesnt match the terrain at all, even tho i selected beard_thin

So basically i made this jigsaw structure and i want it to adapt to the terrain kinda like village houses so i selected "beard_thin" as my terrain adaption type but it just doesnt work at all? ive tried the other terrain adaptation types too but nothing seemed to have any effect on the structure. is it because its a jigsaw structure?
