Does anyone know if there is a plugin that supports forge mods for 1.21.8? (Mcreator version 2025.3)
The only one forge generator plugin currently supports version 1.20.1 and is for Mcreator 2025.2/1
Forge is barely being developed anymore, basically all of the forge developers have moved to neoforge. Therefore MCreator, and the vast majority of mod creators outside of MCreator, have also moved to neoforge.
Minecraft Forge has 1.20.1+ versions yet, but official MCreator won't to update it. Volunteers can try to update the MCreator forge generator plugin, but we are far to a newer version
Sure it might still be getting updates, but the reason why MCreator won't be updating to it is because it's dying.
But also like why do you want forge 1.21.8? Neoforge can literally do everything forge can..
Not even in the way you might be able to say fabric can. Like neoforge is forge..
Thanks! i just wanted to make a mod called "Structured" for forge because all of the cool mods i know on curseforge are for forge and not neoforge, and i wanted to make a cool modpack with the mod i made (also i just don't like the neoforge loading screen. no not the fox i just don't like when you're loading a super epic modpack or something and there's just like a random fox in the middle of the classic red screen)
well good thing there are plenty of mods that allow you to change the loading screen then...
