Workspace setup failed for MCreator 2025.3 EAP

When creating a workspace, it seems to get stuck on the setting up the gradle part and crashes. I looked at the first two, "Gradle setup and build errors" solutions; the first one does not seem to have anything that relates to my problem as I have a good internet connection, and no antivirus or vpn. But I do have ublock on my main browser which is firefox though I'm not sure if it matters really. For the second solution, I can't find/don't seem to have a gradle folder in the mcreator folder.
I'm using Nobara Linux if that is helpful.
