As the Title says,
Neoforge seems to be the native and only supported environment unless you get a community made plugin, but those seem to get outdated and lack support after a while, the last forge generator is at 1.20.X
Though Neoforge is nearly identical at early version and even compatible to use Neoforge mods in forge this no longer seems to be the case and forge still is the dominant mod loader followed by Fabric.
I personally wouldn't know how difficult it would be to achieve this task but I do hope to see more support for Forge
