I have created a system to apply item nbt that determines what effect to give the player when item is eaten. But now I must allow the player to eat when hunger is full to make this system valuable at all. If creating a custom item you can simply check the "Is item always edible?" box and be done with it. But for non custom food items this is not easily possible. Every suggestion I've come across says to do ON ITEM RIGHT CLICK "If food level = 20 Set to 19" but that isn't ideal for me.. Is there a way to use a custom code snippet or something to set the "always edible" property to existing items?
Here is a pic of the code generated for a food item with this property listed, can it be set or is it too far built into the game?
