Dimension swapping not working

Right now, I'm trying to make a living entity that on touch, teleports you to a custom dimension. However, no matter how I do it, the dimension won't swap. I added a block to send a chat message and that will play, but nothing happens otherwise. I have tried both of the methods in the images
