The title explains it al but I am simply trying to make boots that allow the player to have creative flight when worn in survival. So far I have encountered these issues which I have been unable to resolve:
Creative mode flight while in creative mode is completely lost and is only possible when wearing the boots.
For some F*CKING reason the boots work perfectly fine when it's just the testing mode in MCreator. When I throw them together in my modpack however, they stop working. This is so confusing to me because I have no f*cking idea how the actual f*ck this could happen at all.
Are you setting the player to fly on every tick they wear the boots? If so you should make it so the ability to fly is only given and taken away when putting on and taking off the boots.
Is that what your procedure looks like? https://imgbox.com/Ke0gTTGx
You can add any other flying equipment, if you have any, in else if statements between the parts shown.
That isn't what my procedure looks like but where do I add that, how do I enable flight w/that variable, and how do I give flight only when the boots are equipped like you said?
Also, I deleted the procedure so that it would function.
That procedure is simply on global trigger: player tick update.
Use the procedure block: allow [entity] to fly if [true] otherwise dont, right below that procedure above.
Within [true] switch it out for: get global variable allowFlight.
Also put that within an if gamemode=survival (and adventure if you want)
