The following plugins failed to load

I've been having a problem for three days now.

I downloaded the GeckoLib 4.92 plugin to use with NeoForge 1.21.1 and downloaded MCreator 2026.2. I tried other versions of MCreator and switched Minecraft versions to see if anything else would work, but nothing did.

I keep getting the error: "The following plugins failed to load."

I don't think the issue lies with the specific versions I'm using; I consulted some AI tools to check which version is compatible with NeoForge 1.21.1, and they indicated that the version I'm currently using is the correct one.

No, this is 100% because of the MCreator version you use, whatever what AI told you (whici is almost always incorrectwhen it comes to MCreator). Nerdy stopped supporting Gecklib a long time ago, so you can not use it with any current version of MCreator.

If you're using Nerdy's…

If you're using Nerdy's Gecklib plugin for 4.9.2, its meant to be used only for MCreator 2023.3, it's also abandoned which means it hasn't been updated in some time.

Also, apparently MCreator 2025.2+ supports entity and block animations, which means the plugin isn't much use in 2026.2 because it already has the installed features (I have no idea how to actually find and use those features, but they exist in the core software).
