I'm at my wits end. I have been having a constant issue with my blockbench animations when imported into mcreator and playing in-game and I have done everything I could to fix this issue. The idle animation works fine, but as soon as my mob walks, the arms are not animated properly, they either stay T-posed or sink into the body instead of moving the way I animated them in blockbench. I have this issue with two other mobs, but most of my other ones are fine.
Even before the update I have had this issue and I genuinely for the life of me cannot work out what the solution is. I have changed the animation, fixed pivot points, remade the arms, re animated them, deleted and redone animations, redone the model and exported into mcreator, put in the right folders of each limb, tried with and without animation plugins for both blockbench and mcreator, tried to copy the same method as my working mob animations and literally NOTHING has worked. I even deleted the old arms and made new ones and these ones are just stuck on a T-pose no matter how many times I exported the working animation in blockbench. Both Mcreator and Blockbench are updated, every plugin is updated and working and most other mobs are animated just fine. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong.
I have searched up every possible solution, every possible forum and NOTHING has explained the situation.
TLDR: The arms of three of my mobs are not animated correctly when put into mcreator and tested. They either fold into the body when the mob walks, or they stay stuck in a T-pose. The idle animation is working perfectly. Has anyone had this issue at all? I don't know what else to do except NOT animate the walk cycle?
If anybody can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I would be really grateful. I am just on the verge of giving up at this point.
I'm using Neoforge1.21.1 on MCreator 2026.2
did you make the animation overwrite other animations?
Yes I have tried both overwrite and cancel options, nothing changes the weird arm movement sinking into the body upon walking.
It could be that multiple animations are clashing with each other. Consider using built-in debugger to see when conditions of each animation run to understand if any animations overlap
I did a test to see if that was indeed it by starting an experimental modpack and adding the animations in without all the other code, and at least one of the arms bugs out.
I used it with and without plugins to see if they might be the issue and still, the arms aren't animated right.
I even checked the main mod in debug mode to see if any animations clashes and deleted any conflicting conditions and while it kinda worked, the arms still wig out for virtually no reason.
Is it something to do with the rotation in blockbench? Cause nothing is out of the ordinary in the program until it plays in my test world in mcreator.
