This is how:
- Make sure Mcreator is closed
- Go to Mcreator folder on disk
- Then go to : Mcreator > forge > src > main > resources > assets > minecraft > textures
- Here are two or three maps ( Blocks, Items, Models )
- To import Block textures, just copy them into the blocks folder
- To import Item textures, just copy them into the items folder
Now when you start up MCreator, the textures are there, in the texture selection menu!
- You can also use this to overwrite a texture you imported!
- If you want to delete a imported texture, you can also do that in the Items and Block folders!
or just click "import texture"
Though its way faster to do this if you want multiple textures imported at once.
@#1 You are right but read the Title ( FAST way to import textures)
meh, I make textures as I'm making the item so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oh well..
I found this very helpful, thank you very much!
Yea much appreciated, I like knowing where to find my files. Good stuff
Or, when you click important, select more than 1 texture at a time. You can mass import a ton in the program with one single import click:
They moved the textures in the most recent version
