As of 1.7.1, I seen MCreator got a new option 'Resources'. I wanted to make a mod for a friend but I needed two same textures.
The mod I wanted making was a more TNT mod. For the Color Bomb I needed a no-danger texture (that only creates wool blocks) and a danger texture (that damages the other entities and can kill them). The dangerous texture was a bit darker than the first. I did a complicated texture for the first, with lots of mixes. I cannot give you a image because I abandoned that mod.
Script event system
MCreator got a very useful Event Editor. But what if you can drag events like blocks in https://scratch.mit.edu and create multiple events? You could also add variables and lists in events. Why not conditions and repeat scripts? The events run from top to bottom. Any event happens AFTER the event before it happened.
Wait event: if the script event system would be really added (i know i dream), a wait (seconds) block may be added.
Custom event: Please choose one: repeating the 'Explode' and 'Print HI in chat' everytime or making it a single event with YOUR custom parameters? The second is better. For that example, you can use 'Explode and print HI". But this custom event system needs to be used for complicated ones, because logged users can have maximum 10 custom events world-wide and not logged users have 5. You can share these things on this site on a special forum for this!
Standard portal texture
The standard portal texture is the texture used by the classic nether portal. You have an option 'Standard portal texture' and after you check that a color choose box will appear.
Structure spawning mobs
These mobs can be spawned by creating the structure then it will spawn. It is like the wither or the golems.
Hunt for block AI task
At mobs, I think a block-hunt AI task would be great. If this task is activate, some options will appear: the block breaking speed, the block that the mob is hunting, and the range the mob can see that block. If the mob haves that block in its range, the mob will ignore all the players and creatures it is agressive to and mine all the blocks. Once the block can be mined by the mob, it will mine it then continue hunting any other blocks. If the specified block is destroyed, the mob stops seeking this block and continues the other tasks.
Error warning explained
So let's say you got an error while trying to make the Biggest Mod Ever. You can't find what's the error so you abandoned the mod. It was a long waste. 449594838 mod elements deleted. You don't want that to really happen, no? If MCreator errors would also say why the error happened, it will be easier for you to fix them. In the example given, this feature may save 449594837 mod elements and a very long time.
Mod info in-game display+
You have made an awesome mod but you want to give credit to a friend. You can do it but it will display in the 'Credits' section, and the author field is empty. You cannot do that currently. You need to wait for that!
Custom dimensions teleport structures
A schematic and some imagination can make you an expert dimension maker. But I don't like this thing you need to build the portal itself everytime. What if you need a diamond block circle to teleport to the diamond dimension? If you import the schematic you want, then add a block, when you try in-game and place the block you added in the middle, you will be teleported to that dimension. If you don't build the schematic but place that block you will not be teleported.
