All my textures on the Resource tab are gone
Sun, 03/19/2017 - 18:51 (edited)

Good morning, afternoon or evening... I have been working through several video tutorials in creating items for several days.. I just noticed today that all my textures are no longer available to me.. confirmed while also trying to create a new block - I am not given the option to choose a type

I have Minecraft v1.10.2 / using MCreator v1.71 [1.10.2]

When I am on my Workspace, click on Resource Tab on the left -- totally blank. I can still edit / delete but there is nothing there

Thank you for your time

First Edit

I have been trying to fix my issue, the last thing I did was do a factor reset for MCreator -- now it just waits, waits, waits, waits.... trying to download Minecraft Forge MDK / setting up Mcreator --- I will give it lots of time to see, then tray again later

Last Edit

OK.. I did update my forge in Minecraft thinking they were out of sink.. then a reboot....launched MCreator -- twice I needed to drop the forge mdk file within.. took forever for the download of the extras/dependancies but finished and logged in...

No textures in resources still...

But did you make any texture. Based on your report, you made a fresh install of MCreator and there are no resources in the resources tab which is normal as you need to make them using tools provided in tools tab.

@#1 Ok.. thank you Klemen... my apologies, I thought I previously saw this section full of items, course the videos I watch never say anything about having to create everything but now I know. Onward, I have been creating block textures in Adobe Pro and bringing them over, testing them in the test environment and delete if I want to.

Thank you again.. I will start creating my other items.. think I have the hang of this part now..

maybe this will help for future refference  u can save ur texture u created to a backup file if u coppy the pylo/mcreator/user/mod  file and  texture  map file that way if u create  one and make a mistake so u need reinstall mcreator  u will always have  your own custom textures   that way you can also just coppy paste files to new instalation
