How do you make carptet?

make a 1x16x16 model in Mr.Crafish's model maker and texture it

I have done this I changed the Max Y to 0.1 but I still been blocked for walking on it in 1.7.4, any idea to make it usable I have turned collion off for now but this is not a real fix since you fall thow it if there is a hole under the block.
