Can anyone tell me about other modeling applications besides Techne that work and export the models as .java files or how to convert .json files to .java files. Please reply to this post.
Im asuming you are making a block. Blocks require a JSON file. To model and export the file as a JSON file you will require MrCrayFish Model Creator. The link is down below, it is very easy to use and understand.

Well if you are making a mob, you have to use a .JAVA file. .JSON is for blocks and .JAVA if for mobs. Techne exports mob files as Java which is compatible with minecraft and mcreator for mobs.
I can't get techne to work though how do I make it work
What is the problem you are having with techne?
Techne won't open be because when I try to open it it says That the application stopped working

Well it comes with an application debugger but idk how to use it though.
I also have had no other problems in the past while using it
Normally techne shouldn't come with a application debugger. What I would recommend to do is remove all techne downloads you have on your computer. Reinstall techne and close all programs assosiated with JAVA. I can't guarentee if it will work as I never had the same issue but hopefully it will work.
