Workspace switching

So I went into the Tools tab and clicked on "Create Armor Texture", and when I click "Exit", it switches to the Item/Block Texture Maker. I click Exit on that but it goes back to the Armor Texture Maker. It won't let me go back to my Workspace. I have tried clicking the toolbar on the left, and it does nothing. Could someone please reply ASAP? I'd like to get back to modmaking.
