So i was wondering if someone could implement special generation procedures for custom dimensions, like Presets for Floating islands, large Mountains, Etc. also maybe a way to allow ores to spawn in Custom dimensions. Or something along those lines.
You can allow ore to spawn in custom dimensions by setting whichever ore you want to spawn as the (if I'm not mistaken) tertiary block. Check out my mod, RuneCraft, and enter the Chaos dimension to see how I spawned ores there.
On the subject of more advanced terrain generators, I agree. I would like to have more ability than just the elevation.
