Rotatable Block Option

I have tried lots of tutorials to make a rotatable block and non of them work as they are outdated or just show errors, this is very annoying as I really want to make my blocks rotatable. I have also looked at a lot of posts in the forum and non of them are helpful. So I was wondering if there could be a "rotatable block" option in the process of making the block.

P.S. By rotatable blocks mean the block faces the character. This is just to make sure that everyone understands my message correctly!
