So I'm trying to make a crafting recipe for the spawn egg assigned to my custom mob. Is there a way to do this? The egg doesn't show up as a possible item to add to said recipe. TIA!
This is a known bug as spawn eggs don't really use metadata for mob type it seems. We are still looking for a way to fix this.
awww, well igues i will make a custom item tht spawns my mob.
It will be possible to use spawn eggs in recipes starting 2023.1
at least this means i can make it do a cool animation.
Speaking of, how do I change the texture of a spawn egg? Boats are essentially spawn eggs for boats, if that makes sense.
