Well, there's not much more to say other than what i said in the title.
I made a crop, and it works perfectly except that when i plant it, the farmland below turns to dirt.
It makes sense, because that's what happens when you place a block (my crop is a "block", not a "plant" if that's important) but i haven't found the answer, so i hope i can find it here!

crop is a "block", not a "plant"<-- that is important! Any block that is placed on farmland makes it into dirt. You should make Plant instead
