Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
Hi, I'm new here and I have a small question. I made a mod with a custom dimension, custom blocks, custom weapon and custom biome, the only thing I am stuck on is my custom mob I currently have in the mod, I plan on making more but first I need to fix the current one I added. It's a villager that hovers around in a hover chair and spawns in the custom dimension I named the "Virtual Space" which is normally a peaceful mob but I want to later add a feature where the mob transforms into a corrupted villager. But that is besides the point. What I am asking is why the mob upon being spawned in looks like a textured cube. Is it because I need to make my model smaller? Or because of a different setting? I made a custom model in block bench, but it didn't look that way when I tested it in game. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Also, it might be that my exported model from block bench might need to be scaled down, come to think of it... I'll test this idea out later today, I will update my post if I get it fixed.
Update: I figured out what was wrong! I didn't have the latest version of mcreator installed, the newest version supports java entities which fixed my issue. :)
