Problem with a Model! (not facing correctly)

Hello, This is my first post and mod so this is all new for me. I've done a few mobs already, but I have a problem creating this one. I started modelling without the entity facing north, issue that I noticed trying the mob in-game. I've tried changing it manually in Blockbench but it gives problems anyway. It walks weird and I want to know if there is anything I could do that doesn't make me redo the whole model. Thanks!

I had an issue like that: I made a model, then I inserted it in to Minecraft and when I placed it, the model was rotated 90° looking from east. I tried rotating the model so now the model is facing down instead of nord (I also changed the hitbox), and when I finally tried it in Minecraft it was all working fine.
