I’ve created a model that has the basic upper torso as a typical biped model but the lower half has a tail and custom legs. But I can not seem to get it to render something in its hand I’ve looked all across the internet for ways to support hand held items in custom models but I can’t seem to find anything that works. Please help!
You want your mob to hold custom swords/bows?
This could help: https://mcreator.net/wiki/how-make-mob
Hope this helped!
No it’s a custom mob that has the same upper torso as a biped model but I need to hold any regular old item.
I don’t know how to get a item to render in its hand.
Oh. I don't know then. Sorry
Anyone else have any ideas maybe??
I don't know but I am wanting to know the same thing. soo just putting this here so I get notifications from this forum. Sorry I don't have a solution
I have done this same thing, searching for hours on edge looking for it, I ended up emailing Pylo about it and they mentioned that lots of people have been asking about it and they might make a video on their youtube channel for it. I hope this inspires somebody to create awesome mods, hopefully we will see something about rendering items in custom entity's hands soon.
i need help too, I don't know why my custom mob won't spawn in correctly. the texture is all messed up and scrambled, is it the file type?
Try this video, it will fix your scrambled texture: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1Dy5tQkZpg
