Go to your plant and make new procedure in "Update Tcik" section
Here's example of crop procedure
The mushrooms here would be new plant block with new properties

you dont even need to set those local rands; just set the Tick of the block on the creation process to the time you want a crop stage goes to the other, then make the procedure to Replace the block (use Replace not Remove/Place on this casE)
I am doing this for Cavecraft: Cave Update 1.4 to make farming caveroots less over powered since it now takes time
