Attaching swing animation to custom entity model with a preset rotation angle bug

Create a custom entity model with parts that have a preset rotation angle (like you want the arms to be at a 30 degree angle to the body).

Import and attach stock arm swing animation to that arm.

Run it in game.

The arm will lose the preset rotation angle and swing like it started at 0 rotation.

Does anyone know if it is possible to solve this problem? I would also love to create models with preset rotation angles.

i worked around the problem by making a tiny cube with zero rotation and then attaching the rotated parts to that tiny cube's group.
