How do you make quicksoil? [Fixed in 2020.2]
Sat, 03/28/2020 - 13:30 (edited)

So in the Aether 2 Mod there is a block called quicksoil when you step on it and walk in a direction the Player moves in that direction and Speeds up and gets Incredibly fast Speed so fast that some chunks even dont have enough time to load when you for example open a flat world filled with quicksoil. Is there a possibility to recreate something like that in MCreator

Version 2019.5? thanks for help.

EDIT:

Anyway thanks for help but in 2020.2 its perfectly possible just by setting the material type to packed ice and set slipperiness to something like 1.1-1.3

thanks for the idea but that would only make the Player move when he actually presses a button however in the aether 2 mod you have to press one time and the Player will accelerate if there is quicksoil underneath him even if he doesnt press a button in that state

The Aether was almost definitely made using raw Java coding, not Mcreator. You could rename and retexture blue ice and add that super speed effect, and the slipperiness should keep you going for at least ten blocks.

While I would take caution with doing this, you could use the entity velocity and multiply the current velocity to accelerate the player at incredible speeds. If you want a limit or a requirement, you could use if statements with the velocity.
