Hello, i need help importing my mod into the newest version of mcreator. i have it installed but i dont know how to .zip the mod because when i export it it only gives me the option of .jar. when i try any other mods that have .zip's it says its not a mcreator zip. please help me! also if you could link a coding tuturial for not using this please do because i want to learn how. thanks!

you can just use the newest version of mcreator to open the workspace folder.

click file and there is a option to export as shearable zip
No need to export and import, just open it in newer version
