Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
The next Mcreator update (which will add 1.15.2 for modding) should add working bees. So the bees go into a custom block and collect from a certain type of block/plant
And if you've already thought of that.. would it be possible to add?
That's pretty specific, but it might not be too hard to add custom plants to the list of plants that bees will pollinate. I haven't looked too closely at any 1.15 source code so I cannot tell you if this would be a simple addition. If it becomes too hard to implement this then they probably won't add it because it's just too niche for the payoff of spending so much effort to be worth it.
I agree, those WOULD be good code blocks...
if they considered so, then they will add some AI tasks for bee like actions and AI Bases for Bees,
This would be a cool feature to have and fill benefit my mod a lot.
Did you make a support ticket for it? I would like to upvote it :)
You can make bees pollinate your flowers using tags: add your blocks to the Minecraft "small_flowers" or "tall_flowers" block tags.
If you add your plants to the item tag "small_flowers", you can use those to breed bees.
Yes! :)
But you cant make mobs go "into" blocks :(
1. Does the block the block have to be a plant? or can it be a custom block model?
2. How would the working bee's work? is it possible for them to carry pollen to a custom chest and put a item in it?
3. If number 2 is not possible how would the bee's work?
