Can anybody help help me make a mod?

Hi, I am working on a mod that I call: "TRNSFR" (pronounce: "Transfer")
It's basically a mod that adds Pipes, Nodes and Blocks (that are similar to those from mods such as, extra utilities, ender io, etc...) that can transfer items, fluids, energy and redstone.
I already made a model texture for the pipe, but it just shows me the purple and black thing instead of the pipe.
