Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
You can make terraria mods there. From making tiles to making very OP swords with projectile spam.
-create tile(block)
-create tool
-create ranged weapon
-create crafting table
-create recipe
-create item
-create sword projectile
-create entity, mob or boss
and much more!
in tile and crafting table creator you can select size in tiles, effects(rope effect, hellstone effect, platform effect and more)
in tool editor you can select type of tool(sword, axe, pickaxe, hammer, multitool). You can also select projectiles for them on swing(if you make these) using procedures. you can select tool power(if sword its hidden)
in ranged weapon you can select type(throwing weapon, melee throwing weapon, ranged weapon, magic weapon). its like editor from mcreator, but there no item check. If you select throwing weapon, you can check, if item consumes when it used. If you select melee throwing weapon, this will be non-consumable melee ranged weapon. If you select magic weapon, you can set mana consume.
in recipe editor you can make recipes for items. Like if you select [item] as result, you can add materials like (20 wood, 10 stone, 1 copper shortsword). Also you need check for crafting table([anvil] or higher)
item editor is same.
in sword projectile editor you can select type(blade, rain and more). You can bind those projectiles for item using procedures. You can bind more than one projectiles for item.
In entity editor... Omg, its hard to explain. Its going be same like scratch.mit.edu editor.
And procedures blocks:
-Shoot projectile on swing/use
-Shoot projectile on consume
-Set effect (effect) on current entity with duration (duration in seconds)
-Bounce when hits wall (if its ranged weapon or projectile).
I think its all
Addition: size for tile or crafting table is can be edited in width and length in tiles
They are not going to do this.
It is a good idea though..
its good idea but this MCreator is aiming to Mod generator for Minecraft,
and they cannot support many things, but lets say we added TCreator, then Devs going to support more products, and should update all of them constantly, it takes Many effort and it makes devs soo busy, and the Purpose of mcreator is mod generator for minecraft, sadly TCreator not going to come true,
I mean TCreator as other app, not inside mcreator
Again, they won't do this.
its not minecraft relatied
It is a good idea though... But yeah probably not gonna happen, and I respect that.
cool idea, i had a similar one but it probably wont happen. Hopefully it does though with a bit of luck
This is a very cool idea, although I have little faith that they will do it. If anyone wants to make a mod, though, I recommend TModLoader. It works very well except it uses coding, which I hope that you know is way more harder than MCreator. But I would most definitely support a TCreator.
This is not a bad idea at all. Maybe if there are some people knowledgable in the Terraria modding, we can do this as a community project. If you find someone that can help, you can get a team together.
As far as I can tell, MCreator devs have a lot of bugfixes and features to fix or add. They are very busy and they would have to do a LOT of work to make an app for Terraria. I suppose you could start a project based on MCreator but its for Terreria if you really wanted to, but it would be a lot of work, and even if you got a MCreator dev to help you, it probably wouldnt be their first priority.
no.
they won't for the next 100 years
nice but idk if they will do this :P
