I want to make a simple mod for 1.14.4 that allows someone to use lapis as blue dye but not vice versa (e.g., using lapis to make blue wool but not using blue dye to make lapis blocks). I'm very confused about the different names and settings for tags, and I can't find any tutorials anywhere that describes my exact situation. Does anyone have any solutions? Any and all help is appreciated.

Just add the crafting recipes themselves. You dont need tags. Like make lapis and white wool craft blue wool.
