I know there is another topic about Something like that but i was surprised that was not something like wood pack in the premade pack. Because making a new type of wood with all the blocks that come with it is going to be long: Slabs, stairs, door, trapdoor, log, planks, stripped log and maybe leaves. Just a suggestion like that its not in my interest to have this feature currently but think about this, that can be long to do all the blocks related to a type of wood.

They plan on adding something like this, but it is not high priority and adding it might lead to a huge wave of lazily-made unoriginal mods being uploaded to the site.
When i make my mod, originality is always my priority, i don't think its going to be unoriginal, its depend how people use this. A lot of my favorite mod add new woods types with beautiful new textures. Twilight Forest and the Betweenland are good example. But thanks for your answer i upvote the 2 issues.
