built in crafting procedure problems

so im working on a mod that adds....nature themed stuff and im trying to make a new crafting station using the pre made crafting template but i cant get it to work, im trying to make a recipe for food storage, which is a chest with beef on top in the interface but what do i put for the rest of the slots ive tried air and void air and removing the ones that arent in use, how do i do that? thanks in advance

Maybe try using the “no item…

Yes it should be "empty itemstack". I think they changed the name.
